Zaria Gould was crowned Miss Monogram 2024 in front of a spirited crowd that came out on a beautiful Saturday afternoon to watch the Vineland High School football team take on the Highland Tartans. The Fighting Clan went on to overtake the Tartans with an exciting 25-0 win.
The festivities kicked off with the annual Homecoming Parade down Landis Avenue. Led by district and high school administrators, Board of Education members, and the VHS Marching Clan and cheerleaders, the parade made its way down Landis Avenue to Gittone Stadium. Also showing off their VHS pride were several athletic teams, clubs, the Class and Student Government Association floats, and, of course, the Miss Monogram contestants.
Halftime kicked off with a performance by the VHS Marching Band, followed by the crowning of Miss Monogram. Winner was Gould, escorted by Jalexis Rodriguez. Her court included first runner-up Alessandra Parent escorted by Jose Febus; second runner-up Kylie Hague, escorted by Luis Antonio Gonzalez; third runner-up Timara Bunton, escorted by Elaina Ramirez; and fourth runner-up Dulce Flores, escorted by Robert Steele. The contestants received their sashes, flowers, and trophies from members of district central administration, Board of Education members, and VHS administrators.
