Check it out....Week 5 Reminders and Link to Flyers
Our Staff Spotlight this week is Ms. Linda Bryant! Ms. Bryant is a paraprofessional in Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Bonsall’s, and Ms. Seyma’s 2nd grade classroom. She began her career in Vineland right here at Rossi last year and has been a tremendous asset to our school community since.
Ms. Bryant’s favorite part about Rossi is the “family feel”. She enjoys when staff connect over shared experiences and how they are always willing to lend a helping hand. Ms. Bryant sees that the staff collaboration and school spirit spreads into the student population. “They want to help and encourage each other, too”, Ms. Bryant says.
A fun fact about Ms. Bryant is that she likes to move and groove on the dance floor! When she isn’t at Rossi or dancing, Ms. Bryant enjoys reading and crocheting.
We are incredibly lucky to have Ms. Bryant’s industrious work ethic, collegial professionalism, and compassion supporting the staff and students at Rossi. Be sure to say “hi!” next time you see her!
Congrats to our first week of October "Caught Being Good" students!! We are so proud of you :)
Rossi Elementary School's September Service Project was a HUGE success! South Jersey Animal Shelter received many physical and cash donations. Currently, the shelter is in a critical red zone. Rossi's donation drive came just in time to help them in a time of extreme need. Thank you for all your support. Rossi Owls are awesome!
Students in room C15 at Rossi Elementary School made the earth out of balloons! The students listed all of the continents, the equator, the hemispheres, and the prime meridian! Room C15 rocks!

Happy October!!!
Our Staff Spotlight this week is kindergarten paraprofessional Jasmin Rodriguez! Ms. Jasmin has been working in Vineland Public Schools for the past eight years. Her career began as a cafeteria/playground aide at Max Leuchter Elementary School where she continued in that role at Rossi before moving to kindergarten full time. Ms. Jasmin currently works with Ms. Rado.
Ms. Jasmin’s favorite part about working at Rossi is that everyone can come together to make the school the best it can be. She says watching her kindergarten students grow and succeed is a “true blessing”.
A fun fact about Ms. Jasmin is that she has always wanted to be a teacher. She channels that optimism for education and positive mindset into her daily instructional activities with the students she cares so much about. Ms. Jasmin’s hard work and dedication to our school and her students is valued and appreciated at Rossi. Next time you see her in the halls, be sure to say “hi!”.

Congrats to our first group of "Caught Being Good" winners of the 23-24 school year. We are so proud and excited to kick this year off in the right direction. #Spreadkindness#Rossirocks#Rossiowls
Our first Staff Spotlight of the 2023-2024 school year is second grade teacher Ms. Menone! Ms. Menone is always willing to lend a helping hand or shoulder to lean on for anyone who needs it.
Beginning her career in Vineland in 2001, Ms. Menone got her start at Children’s Courtyard (where she herself was a preschool student) as the swim teacher before working as a substitute teacher the following year. Ms. Menone is a proud Rossi owl through and through; she even attended Rossi for middle school from 1994-1998!
Ms. Menone says her favorite part about Rossi is her students. She particularly loves when her former students stop by her classroom. Ms. Menone loves checking in on her colleagues and former students when she can to offer a word of support, some helpful advice, or just to say hi.
When she’s not traveling the halls of Rossi, Ms. Menone enjoys traveling the world and has been to 20 foreign countries! When she is stateside, Ms. Menone loves spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephew. Ms. Menone is also an avid swimmer.
Ms. Menone is a kind, dedicated, and truly exceptional teacher. She is passionate about her students and is able to form a family-like atmosphere in her classroom. She genuinely cares about her colleagues and students, alike. Next time you see Ms. Menone be sure to say hi!
