Read Across America Week: Monday, March 4th - Friday, March 8th
Students may dress down on the following days:
Monday, March 4th: See Yourself in Books - dress to represent your town or school
Tuesday, March 5th: Read the Rainbow - students in each grade wear a different color.
K = Red / 1st = Orange / 2nd = Yellow / 3rd = Green / 4th = Blue & 5th = Purple.
Wednesday, March 6th: Cozy Books - wear pajamas (no slippers)
Families are invited to join us for our Literacy Night "Succeeding through Reading" on Wednesday, March 6th from 6 to 7 PM. This FREE event is sponsored by the VEA. Enjoy a fun night of story times and sensory crafts. Light refreshments will be served. We will also be joined by local author, Rachelle Molyneaux! To view the flier click here.
Thursday, March 7th: Silly Stories - wear mismatched outfits.
Friday, March 8th: Hats Off to Reading - wear a hat or dress like a book character.
