Just a reminder that our NJSLA testing begins tomorrow. The dates are below:
5/8 & 5/9 - Science: 5th grade only
5/14, 5/15 & 5/16 - Math: 3rd, 4th & 5th Grades
5/21 & 5/22 - English/Language Arts: 3rd, 4th & 5th
The following tips are useful in helping your child perform their best:
Get a good night’s sleep
Arrive on time ! Once testing begins at 9:30 A.M., students will not be permitted to enter the classroom. Late students will have to wait in the office or go to another classroom until testing is completed for the day.
Keep a positive attitude about the test.
Encourage your child to do their best.
Students will not be able to have cell phones on them during testing. If a cell phone goes off during testing, the student will be removed and his/her testing will end for the day. In addition, students will be unable to wear Apple watches or Fitbits during the test.
