Yesterday, our 6th grade students visited the Franklin Institute for a field trip! They all seemed to have a great time and learned alot!

Ms. Super’s 6th grade language arts classes researched pivotal moments in the Civil Rights Movement. They worked in small groups to research and put their research, photos, personal connections and sources used on slides and presented them to their classmates. All groups did an amazing job!

This Thursday is the 90th day of school - we are halfway there! Students and staff will be allowed to dress like the 90s. No ripped jeans or inappropriate graphics on shirts please.

FYI

Miss Welden’s ELA students researched the concept of sustainability in connection with cities in Cumberland County to create a Green City Brochure to present to their peers. The group project encouraged the students to understand the importance of meeting the needs of the present generation without compromising the needs of future generations. The project supported Vineland’s “Portrait of a Graduate” while focusing on Communication, Responsibility and Critical Thinking.
