What's Included:
Dental "Smile Smart Program" - provides students with exams, x-rays, extractions, and cleanings.
Medical - physicals, wellness exams, and/or immunizations, and more.
Please either fill out the attached form or stop by the office to pick one up. Once you fill it out, please return it to our school nurse.
Don't forget the car show this weekend!! Attention all car show fans! Save the date for a Raising Awareness for Dwarfism Car Show at Pilla School on Saturday, October 11th from 10am - 2pm. On Saturday, October 4th, the Pilla Safety Patrol volunteered at the Wheaton Arts Festival of Fine Crafts and made quite an impression! Our dedicated volunteers had the unique opportunity to "patrol" the mesmerizing Glass Pumpkin Patch, which brings thousands of people from all communities, near and far, together. Students helped customers carry, choose, and check out pumpkins, and did so while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Pilla Safety Patrol truly represented our community with pride, and we couldn't be happier with their contribution. Their commitment to safety and their enthusiastic participation made the Wheaton Arts Festival of Fine Crafts an unforgettable event for all who attended. We are so Pilla Proud of our amazing volunteers! 💙💛

REMINDER - T & F Camera will be at Pilla School on Monday, October 6th and Tuesday, October 7th. Students will go down to take their picture during their social studies class. This is a DRESS FOR SUCCESS picture day - the flyer has more information about proper attire. Please compare your student's schedule to the Picture Day Schedule attached. Students who have Farinaccio, Morris, or Hughes/Walker will take their picture on Monday. Students who have Marino or McKenna/Walker will take their picture on Tuesday. Self contained classroom picture times are indicated on the schedule as well. Please call the school with any questions. If your student is absent both days, make up pictures will be Wednesday, October 29th, first thing in the morning.

After School Activities will be starting as soon as September 29th. Please review our Activity Directory with your student. If there are clubs they are interested in joining, please email the advisor listed. The advisor will email you back a permission/transportation form to fill out before your student can stay. The Directory also has a link to our Activities Calendar, which is where advisors will list when their club meets.
We also have an after school homework help program that will start meeting around mid-October. If you are interested in having your student stay for that, please email vcruz@vineland.org or penglish@vineland.org.
